Synthetic weaving does not need trimming, painting or staining. Remove dust and deposits when needed with a pressure washer and plain water. It is an alternative to a hedge that provides screening as soon as it is installed. Here, maintenance-free mainly means no recurring trimming or painting.
A privacy screen beside the terrace serves a different purpose from fencing at the back of the garden. Double weaving provides the greatest visual screening. Single weaving emphasises the structure and subtle visibility; flat weaving creates calmer lines. Look at the weaves both up close and from a distance, then choose based on the view from your home and terrace.
